Committee on Promotion, Tenure, and Mentoring


  • Assist with preparation of the dossiers for advancement of tenure/specialty track faculty;
  • Assist with reappointments and sabbatical/professional leave;
  • Serve as initial mentorship committee for all junior faculty;
  • Establish mentorship committee for each junior faculty member (within 6 months);
  • Develop strategic plan for mentorship of junior faculty;
  • Oversee mentoring committees and request feedback on faculty performance for annual performance evaluation from mentoring committees, section chiefs, medical directors;
  • Assist faculty with CV's and candidate statements for reappointments and promotions.
